First-ever encapsulated soybean inoculant now offers
120-day planting window
Excalibre™, produced by the makers of America’s Best
Inoculant™
(ABI), recently accomplished another first. The most technologically
advanced soybean inoculant now
has a 120-day post-application planting window. Excalibre is the
only 120-day Bradyrhizobia and
encapsulated soybean inoculant available to date. Excalibre was
introduced to the industry in January
2006 with a 60-day, post-application planting window. In September,
Excalibre announced it was at a 90-day post-application planting
window.

Soybean Inoculation Study
Soybean farmers throughout the United
States continue to realize additional profits by using soybean inoculants.
America’s Best Inoculant‘, a soybean inoculant marketed by Advanced
Biological Marketing, showed a significant yield increase ć 2.8 bushels per acre
over the untreated soybeans. At $6.50 per bushel, the income increased by
$18.20 an acre using America’s Best Inoculant. Based on the complete test
results, inoculation increased profit on average by $13.90 per acre. Therefore,
America’s Best Inoculant profit was $4.30 more than the average.

New America’s Best Inoculant Formulations Make Pre-Treating
Soybean Seeds Easier
Advanced Biological Marketing, makers
of America’s Best Inoculant‘, recently introduced a high concentrate inoculant
specifically designed for custom soybean seed treatment. Custom treaters
planning to apply new insecticides, along with inoculants and fungicides,
potentially face wetter seeds coming out of the treater. The new concentrate will
allow a full rate of nitrogen-fixing rhizobia at one-third the volume of existing
formulations. The result will be greatly reduced bridging and clumping, making
pre-treating soybeans easier and more effective.

America’s Best Inoculant Plus 30 Extends Planting Window
Advanced Biological Marketing, makers of America’s Best
Inoculant, recently introduced America’s Best Inoculant Plus
30 for soybeans. This new product is a liquid additive that
extends the post-inoculation planting window up to 30 days,
even with some fungicide and insecticide combinations. The
product works with the liquid formulations of America’s Best
Inoculant and can be used on other soybean inoculants as well.
